Greenshaw Learning Trust Athletics Championship
We are delighted to announce the winning school - Five Acres High School!
Last Thursday Five Acres High School organised the first ever ‘Greenshaw Learning Athletics Championship’ at the Prince of Wales stadium in Cheltenham. The event involved Five Acres High School, Henley Bank High School and Yate Academy. We took a combined Y7 & 8 team and a combined Y9 &10 team.
Students participated in 100m/200m/300m/400m/800m/1500m & 4x100m relay, as well as shot-put, discus, javelin and long jump. Five Acres High School performed brilliantly, winning in each age group and also overall by a good margin. The results can be seen in the table below.
Once again our students put on a fantastic display, demonstrating two of our Core Values, Ambition and Determination. They also showed Respect by being such great winners and showing true sportsmanship. They really did us proud. Well done to all involved!
